Helpful hints for using markers instead of ink pad for stamping.
1. Use a marker to apply ink only to the desired parts of image.
2. Add other colors if desired.
3. Huff on the inked image to remosten the ink with your breath before stamping onto paper.
Masking:
1. Stamp image on card.
2. Stamp again on a piece of scratch paper.
3. Cut carefully around the scratch paper image, cutting just the inside of the line This will be your mask. 4. Place the mask on top of the card stock. 5. Stamp another image over a portion of the mask to create layered, interacting images. 6. Remove the mask to see the finished look.
Partial
Image 1. To stamp partial image, use tape to cover the part of stamp you don't want to appear ink the the stamp, remove the tape and stamp image. Repetition: 1. Ink a stamp.
2. Stamp the image.
- Restamp the image one or more times without reinking it. This technique is a great way to get several shades of color from a single ink pad.
